Book Review - Fire On The Fells By Cath Staincliffe

I was introduced to this author by Netgalley and Joffe Books, who have kindly offered me a copy of Fire On The Fells in return for my honest review.  As I knew very little about Cath Staincliffe I thought I would do little search and find some information to share with you before I review her book. Little did I know what I would find out. Cath is a novelist, radio playwright and the creator of ITV's hit series, Blue Murder starring Caroline Quentin. Her radio work for the BBC includes the three-part thriller, Undercover, Legacy and Stone. Below names just a few of the nominations and prizes won by this talented author. Cath has been short listed many times for the prestigious CWA Daggers and was a winner of the Short Story Dagger. Her book Letters To My Daughter’s Killer was selected for Specsavers Crime Thriller Book Club and featured on ITV3’s Crime Thriller Club. What is the Kindle Unlimited?

Kindle Unlimited is a service provided by Amazon it gives you the opportunity to explore and read books, audiobooks, and popular magazines on any device. It's a bit like a library but without the late penalty fees!  
Kindle Unlimited contains a variety of genres and authors — you will find everything from romance to science fiction, crime fiction to fantasy even biography's and Autobiography's.

You can browse the current Kindle Unlimited library before deciding whether to subscribe.
If you already have an Amazon account, all you need to do is sign in. Click on the menu (the three bars at the top left) and select Kindle E-Readers and Books, then click Kindle Unlimited. You will then be able to sign up. Once you’re signed up, you can view all that's available by clicking Kindle Unlimited in the menu.
If your unsure if this is your thing, Amazon are offering a 30 day FREE trial, this will then give you the chance to try it out and see if you like it.

Do you need a Kindle?

The short answer is no, you just need the app.
Just look for Amazon Kindle app, its free to download and I believe it is available for iOS, Android, PC, and Mac. Once you have downloaded the kindle app, which you can do on multiple devices, you can download and read anytime, on any device. Don't forget to go into Manage your content and devices, scroll down to device synchronization and turn it on, this way your kindle and kindle apps will always sync and remember your last page read. 



What happens after the free trial ends or I want to cancel my Subscription?

 After the 30-day free trial, unless you cancel your subscription, it will automatically roll over to a monthly subscription and you will be charged. If you don't want to be charged make sure you do cancel it at the right time. The free trial or monthly subscription can be cancelled at anytime. 
 If your anything like me and want to keep it or need to binge read the rest of a series, the subscription will auto-renew on a monthly basis. 
After cancelling your trail or subscription, any books you have downloaded will be deleted form your devices.  
Remember even if you sign up to a subscription you always have the option to cancel at any time.
